- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, including FDCPA, state, and city regulations, as outlined in InteLogix policies
- Complete FDCPA and state collection laws training as well as InteLogix Accounts Receivable training program successfully
- Negotiate payment arrangements with customers to settle balances or establish suitable payment plans
- Accurately document all collection activities in client systems
- Address any identified deficiencies or oversights noted during telephone monitoring, file activities, or QA reviews as directed by management
- Maintain positive public relations and handle emotional callers in a high-stress environment
- Foster good working relationships with peers and leaders
- Perform additional duties/tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 6 months collections experience preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience preferred
- Ability to remain engaged on the phone throughout the entirety of your shift with minimal to no distractions
- Possess computer/technology savvy with the ability to smoothly operate multiple windows and tabs, while simultaneously providing Best-In-Class Customer Experience speaking to customers over the phone
- Excellent communication skills required, both oral and written
- Superb attendance, so you can be there when our customers need us
