Description:Consultant, Antiracist Curriculum Project

FULL-TIME Exempt : 40 hours per week
Coordinated Care Services Inc (CCSI) seeks a talented Antiracist Curriculum Project Consultant to contribute their expertise in providing essential business services to our provider organizations and customers. The Antiracist Curriculum Project is a teacher-led initiative to educate our community on our shared history of racist policies and resistance through primary sources and social-emotional learning that ultimately leads to civic action addressing systemic racism and its effects. The Consultant will be responsible for providing learning and professional development to K-12 schools, colleges and community organizations, based on the established curriculum with school districts across NYS.
In this role, you will
- Work with CCSI customers to develop a customized implementation approach to best match organization needs and culture.
- Facilitate professional learning at K-12 schools, colleges and community organizations virtually and in person
- Deliver scope of services in accordance with established timeline and budget parameters.
- Stay abreast of advances in equity-focused practices through ongoing high quality professional development.
- Develop proposals, collect data and makes significant contributions to other business development efforts aimed at expanding CCSI services to current and new customers.
- Continue development of curriculum for relevance, revisions for use in CCSI consulting areas of practice, region of use, and other necessary opportunities.
- Support and enhance community partnerships and engagements
- Participate in weekly reflective supervision and coaching with project co-directors
- Give feedback on current professional learning offerings and support creation of new offerings
- Observe and co-teach lessons with classroom teachers
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Preferred Master’s Degree with 4 years of work experience, or equivalent education and work experience (see CCSI's equivalency chart)
- Experience participating in or leading equity or antiracism initiatives
- Demonstrated experience with leading projects, including group and professional learning facilitation.
- Preferred classroom teaching experience
- Experience leading adult education around equity
Additional Requirements
- Travel required to facilitate professional development
- Satisfactory completion of all required background screenings.
