Job Description
We are hiring a Construction Superintendent who will be responsible for overseeing and managing all construction activities for our 3 Flagstaff new home developments – small, in-fill, residential single and multi-family, and modular home projects.
Job Duties
- Develop and maintain timely construction schedules per company standards
- Coordinate and supervise all construction activities
- Supervise subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers
- Manage construction administrative and field support staff
- Oversee job costing/invoices – accuracy, reconciliation, payment processing
- Manage and coordinate project workflow
- Oversee and adhere to established project/job budgets
- Assist in subcontractor bid process and contracts
- Manage customer service and warranty departments
- Manage construction processes related to external functioning with vendors, city and county entities, banks, subcontractors, and inspectors
Qualifications
- Construction Management/Supervisory experience: 4+ years
- Detailed knowledge of construction drawings and building specs/plans
- Must have the ability to multi-task, work independently, and be hands-on in a fast-paced work environment
- Proven leadership skills with strong field management and problem-solving abilities
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy, industry best practices and compliance, and customer service
- Effective communication skills for collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
- Capable in the role of construction management organization and supervision
Skills
- Experience in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Construction Management Software systems familiarity
- Job Scheduling/Costing/Purchasing/Invoicing experience
- Day-to-Day job site/field experience
