Has quality attributes to manage a wide range of Construction Projects from start to finish.
This entails working closely with the owners, sales team, subcontractors, and inspectors. The customers that we service; and anyone that may be involved in the project. Take ownership, be responsible to organize and oversee construction procedures and ensure they are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
Project Manager Qualifications / Skills:
- Education / Proven experience as Construction Project Superintendent.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (NOT required with extensive experience).3+ years’ experience related to Project Supervision.
- In-depth understanding of construction schedules, material, and construction management principles.
- Prior knowledge of general construction application. Familiarity with quality, health, and safety standards.
- Make sure projects are aligned with agreed-upon plans.
- Adheres to the established budget, timeline, and quality control plan.
- Communicates with clients and delivers project progress reports.
- A team player with leadership abilities.
- Ensures that all local, state, and national building codes and regulations and safety precautions are followed.
- Ability to obtain bids to quantify estimating of projects.
- Comfortable leading others.
- Expert on quality control and managing resources.
- General knowledge of sound business principles and strategies.
- Attention to detail and being highly organized are required skills.
Experience Requirements:
- Outstanding verbal and written skills are required. Ability to read, interpret, understand, and explain documents such as Order Acknowledgements, CAD drawings, product specifications, or warranty manuals.
- Must be computer literate and able to use electronic software (MSOffice, Excel, etc.).
- Uses scheduling software to update schedules, track progress, and document project progression.
- Capacity to gather information, and respond appropriately to questions from customers, co-workers, subcontractors, or people working in the field.
- Coordinates and communicates with the Project Coordinator to ensure accurate understanding of and timely resolution to customer issues.
- Completes all required paperwork to ensure all necessary information is present.
- Must be a team player with great attitude, and exhibit a strong desire to learn and promote self-growth.
- Must be pro-active, self-disciplined, self-motivated, and have a demonstrated ability to follow projects through to completion.
- Must be able to demonstrate organizational skills, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Ability to think outside the box to come up with solutions to issues when they arise.
- Must present in a clean and neat physical appearance.
Hours: Full-time 7:00 am to 4:00 pm
