Responsibilities:
- Oversee the construction process, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality standards.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth workflow and efficient project execution.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and regulations on construction sites.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and identify potential issues.
- Collaborate with Estimators to understand project requirements and budgets.
- Manage and mentor construction teams, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Communicate effectively with project teams, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, permits, and regulations.
- Problem-solve and address any challenges that may arise during construction.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred.
- 2 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent or similar roles.
- In-depth knowledge of construction techniques, principles, and practices.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and protocols.
- Negotiation skills to facilitate successful project outcomes.
- Proficiency in using software such as DropBox for document management.
Salary and Benefits:
- Full Time
- Salary range: $50,000 - $65,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
