Job Description
We are a growing full-service General Contractor specialize in mid-to-large size commercial, retail, multi-level, industrial projects in the southeast region.
The Construction Project Manager is responsible for the overall planning, coordination, and execution of Construction Projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the construction process, as well as experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage project budgets
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders
- Input any executed Change Orders into the Accounting System.
- Ensure projects stay on budget and on time.
- Prepare monthly status reports.
- Prepare Owner Change Orders and Subcontractor Change Orders.
- Manage the construction schedule
- Monitor project progress and ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget
- Resolve project issues and conflicts
- Complete the Job Set Up Sheet for all projects.
- Review permitting requirements and prepare a log for completion.
- Prepare all other documents related to the projects
- Assure projects have been issued a COO
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field
- 7-10 years of experience in the construction industry
- Strong understanding of the construction process
- Maintain consistent motivation among workers and peers, fostering a positive atmosphere to achieve optimal results.
- Capable of thriving in a high-level professional setting.
- Proficient in garnering acceptance for ideas and adept at guiding both groups and individuals towards task completion.
- Skillful at drawing sound, logical conclusions based on available information.
- Proficient with MS Office Suite
- Excellent project management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
