We are currently seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Construction Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing various Construction Projects from start to finish, ensuring that they are completed in a timely and cost-effective manner. This full-time role is an excellent opportunity for a proactive, organized, and detail-oriented individual with a strong background in construction management and a passion for delivering high-quality work.
Responsibilities
As a Construction Project Manager, your responsibilities will include:
1. Overseeing all aspects of Construction Projects, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and implementation.
2. Coordinating and directing construction workers and subcontractors, ensuring they understand their roles and responsibilities and perform their tasks efficiently and safely.
3. Reviewing work progress daily and addressing any issues or delays immediately.
4. Ensuring all legal requirements, building and safety codes, and other regulations are met.
5. Preparing internal and external reports on job status, including budget reports and project specifications.
6. Collaborating with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals to determine the specifications of the project.
7. Negotiating contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements.
8. Using Procore Project Management Software for project planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and performance monitoring.
9. Implementing effective communication channels to keep all stakeholders informed about project progress and any changes in the plan.
10. Proactively identifying potential risks and devising contingency plans to manage them.
Qualifications
To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 10 years of experience in Construction Project management.
3. Proficient in using Procore Project Management Software.
4. Solid understanding of construction procedures, material, and project management principles.
5. Excellent knowledge of construction contract administration, including billing, change orders, and procurement.
6. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide team members effectively.
7. Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and managing risks.
8. Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
9. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines without compromising on quality.
10. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
