Construction Manager (Tcm-2)

We are currently searching for an experienced Construction Manager (TCM-2) to support our CEI and Construction Management operations in Pennsylvania. This position is located in the Nescopeck, PA area.

What you’ll be doing:

• Responsible for overall construction project performance including financial success, schedule, subcontract management, and client relations
• Determine contract requirements and construction management / inspection staffing needs, project and staff supervision, while providing technical guidance and mentoring to staff to deliver quality projects
• Manage cost control systems, review, and analyze plans, facilitate the bidding/negotiations/buyout process with a general contractor, review all forms (bidding, construction, or other) of requests for information (RFI’s), examine and negotiate change orders, and review and comment on submittals

• Oversee day to day oversight of construction activities, progress estimates and payments, and project closeout
• Maintaining relationships in the construction community to provide market intelligence as well as ensure consideration for future business development opportunities

What you need to have:

• Preferred Civil Engineering degree or equivalent
• 10 + years of experience in Construction Management/Construction Engineering for heavy civil and transportation construction
• PennDOT Concrete Tech, NECEPT Field Tech, and NICET Level IV certifications required
• Experience in Bridge and Highway construction projects
• Demonstrated experience in QA/QC development and project implementation
• Must have a valid driver’s license
