Supervisory Responsibilities
- Supervises each contractor and subcontractor to ensure that work meets quality standards and adheres to specifications.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Oversee the construction of multiple homes, in multiple communities, from start to finish
- Maintain a high level of quality and consistency throughout each home
- Ensure homes are built within the time frame allocated and within budget
- Inform Purchasing of all take-off errors or material issues
- Watch your expenses and stay at or under budget
- Build excellent rapport with home buyers and new homeowners
- Build excellent and fair relationships with trades and vendors
- Maintain community and job site cleanliness at all times
- Install and maintain Sold and Available signs on all homes under construction
- Manage material waste and misuse of materials
- Adhere to and manage Jobsite Safety at all times
- Work closely with the on-site Sales Counselors and communicate often
- Redline new home start packages and distribute to trades and vendors
- Ensure homes close when they are scheduled, or sooner
- Walk your homes several times daily
- Maintain an organized house file for each address
- Conduct pre-construction, pre-drywall, pre-settlement, and sign-off meetings with each homebuyer
- Weekly communication with each buyer is required every Monday with your Sales Counselor
- Complete warranty letters in a timely manner
- Promote Legend Homes in a positive manner at all times

Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Thorough understanding of contracts, plans, specifications, and regulations
- Ability to remain flexible and efficient in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to make intelligent and quick decisions, working well under pressure, and when faced with unexpected occurrences or delays.
- Ability to effectively multitask while analyzing and solving problems.
- Thorough understanding of engineering, architectural, and other construction drawings
- Knowledge of and familiar with operating basic computer systems and programs (i.e. Windows, Adobe, Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Ability to speak Spanish preferred.
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:
- Must be able to traverse and inspect all areas of jobsite in all types of weather; this may include walking, climbing, reaching, bending, crawling, or stretching.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
- Ability to travel the Norman, Oklahoma area is required.
- Must be on-call to address delays, emergencies, bad weather, and other issues on a jobsite.
