Summary of Responsibilities
Providence Real Estate Development is seeking a Field Manager to take a leadership role in multiple residential construction communities. The candidate must possess effective communication and human relation skills. They shall have the ability to effectively schedule and maintain construction schedules in accordance with company goals and Customer commitments. The ability to manage effectively in an independent setting is required.
Essential Functions
- Is fluent in blueprint reading and understands civil engineering drawings.
- Can communicate and manage Customer expectations.
- Schedule creation, updating daily progress and adjusting schedule as required to meet company goals and Customer commitments.
- Manages subcontractor relationships and adherence to contracted Scopes of Work.
- Manage the timely installation of utility service to homes.
- Manage and participates in Municipal inspections and relationship with Municipality.
- Has the ability to train others in company processes and policies.
- Coordinates material deliveries
- Ensure compliance with construction safety regulations and company’s policies.
- Ensures project site is clean, protected and secure at end of each day.
Education, Experience, and Skills Required
- Minimum 5 years RESIDENTIAL Construction Management experience.
- Excel and Word knowledge and experience required.
- High School Diploma mandatory, College Degree preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of construction methods and techniques for various trades.
- Goal oriented
- Ability to ascend and descend stairs and ladders.
- Excellent organization skills
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to move materials and equipment weighing in excess of 50lbs.
