Job Description: As a Construction Estimator, you will play a crucial role in our project development and success. Your primary responsibility will be to accurately estimate project costs and provide detailed bid proposals for a variety of construction projects, including civil, underground, utility, and landscape projects. Your ability to assess project requirements, analyze data, and create comprehensive estimates will be instrumental in securing new projects and contributing to the overall profitability of our company.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other relevant documents to understand project scope and requirements.
• Utilize your expertise in civil, underground, utility, and landscape estimating to accurately predict material, labor, and equipment costs.
• Collaborate with internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to obtain accurate pricing and quotes.
• Prepare detailed and well-structured bid proposals, ensuring compliance with all project requirements and deadlines.
• Monitor and update cost estimates throughout the project lifecycle, communicating changes and potential risks to the project team.
• Keep abreast of industry trends, best practices, and new technologies to continuously improve estimating processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil, underground, utility, and/or landscape estimating.
• Proven track record of successfully estimating and securing projects of varying size and complexity.
• Proficiency in industry-standard estimating software and tools.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate with cross-functional teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Self-motivated and capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines independently.
• Ability to work remotely and maintain a productive and efficient work environment.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
