Commercial Construction Estimator

Pegasus Construction was founded in 1987 and is a Commercial General Contractor based in Phoenix, AZ. Pegasus Construction specializes in Land Development, Industrial, Commercial and Retail Construction.

We are looking to add an experienced Commercial Construction Estimatorwith a minimum of 5+ yrs. in commercial and industrial construction as an Estimator, experience in the semi-conductor construction industry is a plus.

Ideal candidate must possess knowledge of estimating at the General Contractor level, having experience estimating in all trade areas.

Position Summary: This individual will be ultimately responsible for acquiring new project leads, complete project estimating and project management assistance.

Skills and Knowledge:

• 5+ yrs. of Experience in Commercial Estimating
• Estimating at General Contractor level (experience estimating all trades)
• Project Manager Management Experience is a Plus
• Report to Construction Manager and Director
• Semi-Conductor Construction Industry Experience is a Plus
• Experience Estimating all Divisions
• Strong Leadership Skills
• Ability to Work as a Team
• Proficient in Reading Construction Documents
• Strong Verbal and Written Communication
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Teams), Email, Smartphone
• Ability to Create & Manage a Gantt Chart
• Experience with Bluebeam, Smartsheets, Bluebook, and Procore
• Ability to Manage Project Schedule through Smartsheet
• Ability to Create and Manage RFI's
• Able to Work Well with Others and Customers
• Strategic Thinking and Planning
• Ability to Identify and Resolve Complex Issues
• Liaison with Engineers and Our Team
• Strong Organizational Skills
• Exceptional Time Management Skills
• Work Scope Requires Complete Understanding of Cost Estimating, Budgeting and Forecasting
• Ability to Work After Hours as Project Requires
• Must Have Reliable Vehicle

• Work environment is indoor/outdoor work as needed. Temperature ranges may be very cold to very hot.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
