Construction Dispatcher/Project Coordinator

As a Dispatcher, you will coordinate and schedule manpower, equipment, trucking, and material deliveries to various projects company wide. You will ensure projects run smoothly by working effectively as part of a team. B2W is the software that will be used for dispatching.

The ideal candidate for the role is a flexible problem-solver who has superb communication skills and a detail-oriented mindset. Effective multitasking and a unique ability to handle the unexpected are essential for success in this position. A solid working knowledge of construction equipment, construction terminology, labor unions, and local suppliers is preferred.

Set up Dig Alert notification and maintain up to date log of notifications as needed.

Maintain a vendor list including current rates for trucking, equipment rentals, services, and dumpsites.

Keeping all logs up to date and accurate

Continually improve procedures and processes to maximize efficiency and take advantage of technology.

As Project Coordinator, you will maintain project files, meetings records and correspondence, and project controls information, verify invoices with project daily reports, file, provide administrative support to the project, Project Manager and Owner as needed. Print bid documents for estimators and prepare/file project documents.Monitor and report on the daily progress of projects.

Applicant must:

Be bilingual in English and Spanish

Microsoft skills, including Excel.

Construction or trades background and is familiar with DOT regulations for drivers.

Familiar with Caltrans and permits for heavy equipment hauling.

Knowledge of specific equipment utilized.

Familiar with Air Emissions Requirements.

Have strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to prioritize work without losing focus on quality and process improvement.

Be eager to learn and demonstrate a strong work ethic.

Embrace technology.

Demonstrate excellent organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.

Pay: From $70,000.00 per year
