Summary: Craig Technologies has an opening for a Configuration Management Analyst in Vandenberg AFB, CA. This position is responsible for ensuring mission success through responsive Operations, Maintenance and Sustainment of Space and Missile Systems.
Detailed Description:
Support baseline control of software and hardware configuration items and documentation.
Control and analysis for both Hardware and Software baselines.
Review all software and hardware change requests submitted for approval to ensure completeness and compliance to company specific guidelines and industry best practices.
Perform audits on Configuration Items, document findings. Develop and deploy necessary correction actions.
Ensures compliance to the ECP and Deviation processes in an electronic environment.
Maintains revision and version control over multiple baselines being worked and/or fielded simultaneously.
Ensures that existing change management and change control processes are strictly enforced throughout the development life cycle.
Analyzes proposed product design changes (drawings, software version descriptions and installation instruction, software assembly structure, technical orders, interface control documents, configuration items) to determine the effect on the overall product’s baseline.
Support the development, delivery, and customer review of program documentation/data deliverables and status accounting updates.
Position Requirements:
Conflict management skills.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Strong organizational skills with specific emphasis on attention to detail.
The flexibility to work occasional non-duty hours or on weekends to support specific project requirements.
Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
Must be a U.S. citizen.
BA/BS degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Two years of relevant experience.
