Description
SAIC is seeking a Configuration Management Analyst to contribute in systems development & deployment, processing & analysis, systems engineering & integration, and training capabilities and solutions in support of Navy unmanned systems. We are seeking an innovative and dedicated professional to fulfill their career goals and objectives while delivering mission excellence.
Work will be conducted onsite at the Naval Information Warfare Center, Pacific (NIWC PAC) located in San Diego, California. This part time work is estimated to 20 hours a week.
This position is contingent upon award news expected in Dec 2023.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and maintain configuration management tools to support configuration identification, control, reporting, and delivery of both internally and externally developed or purchased systems and software.
- Performs configuration management and release engineering tasks to ensure new product operating parameters are documented, comply with standard hardware and software configurations, and are logistically sustainable.
- Will assist team with configuration management (CM) Enterprise Change Request (ECR) processes, in accordance with the Program Executive Office Command, Control, Communications, Computer and Intelligence (PEO C4I) modernization Concept of Operations (CONOPS) and the Life Cycle Configuration Management Implementation Manual (LCCMIM).
Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (equivalent years of experience accepted in lieu of degree)
- Active Secret Clearance (interim Secret acceptable to start)
- 0-1 year of CM related experience
- Desired experience conducting CM using DevOps and Agile methodologies
- Desired experience using Government cloud environments for continuous integration and deployment pipelines and Gitlab.mil
- Configuration Management Principles & Implementation Certification (CMPIC) desired
Target salary range: $50,001 - $75,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
Covid Policy: SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters. Customer site vaccination requirements must be followed when work is performed at a customer site.
