Purpose of Job:
The Configuration & Change Control Data Analyst will be responsible for developing and operating Data Management processes at Czinger Vehicles, associated with vehicle bill of material, change, deviation and configuration management practices. The successful candidate will be responsible for meeting all change introduction quality, financial and timeliness requirements in direct support of development and production timelines while minimizing risk and ensuring compliance with all contractual and legal obligations. Implementation of a data management approach that is scalable, efficient and recognized as value-added by all parties involved, will be key, as will the digitization of existing manual processes, as we scale the business.
The Data Analysts will also be responsible for developing strategic plans to ensure any associated (change and configuration management) administrative process does not slow down the pace of development, while still ensuring data accuracy and reliable change introduction practices.
Essential Job Functions and Performance Standards:
1) BOM (Bill of Materials) configuration changes, maintenance and associated reporting for new and existing programs
2) Completeness and accuracy audit and corrections of the BOM
3) Change analysis and design engineer and supply chain support based upon the BOM data, associated changes and system/process enhancements.
4) Support the development of policies, standards, and systems supporting BOM and Change Management
5) Creation and improvements of IT tools, reporting and dashboards helping in everyday work.
6) Maintain day-to-day internal relationships; point of contact for all BOM issues.
7) Development of associated business processes that are utilized and adhered to, due to their efficiency and value-added nature, in support of vehicle deliveries which are configured and realized for customer needs.
Work Environment: Office mainly. Occasionally Inventory store & production operations
Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or IT and/or equivalent experience
Experience:
1) 5+ years of relevant experience
2) Strong background within the automotive industry, experience in a start-up environment is preferred.
3) Ability to analyze and manage Engineering and Manufacturing BOM structure and changes, capability to identify and address discrepancies with large data sets.
4) Production Operations Knowledge - Has a basic understanding of how complex production lines operate.
5) Demonstrated competency in change risk management and associated program planning.
6) Demonstrated experience developing processes and procedures with operation personnel to continuously improve quality and productivity of all parties, using PLM, ERP and MRP systems, to introduce part changes.
Skills:
1) Strong computer skills, use of MS office suite and major brand PLM/MRP/ERP systems. Strong in Excel. Experience with VBA or Python a plus.
2) Possess strong, high-level analytical, organizational, communication and facilitation skills along with the ability to positively influence others.
3) Demonstrated ability to collaborate and establish consensus within a group or team environment.
4) Ability to establish and build relationships across all levels and functions of the organization required.
