The Senior Configuration Analyst is responsible for application configuration including project planning, execution, and implementation of changes to our Care Management Software. In addition, they are responsible for ensuring accurate, timely, and efficient configuration of the Software. You will possess expertise in analyzing application configuration to ensure it is efficient in setup and functionality.

Salary: $109,341 to $121,489

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Perform implementation and configuration activities including prototyping, analysis, system configuration, operational implementation and process documentation.
  • Adhere to SFHP’s Change Management/Release Management Policies and Procedures, including submitting appropriate change requests timely and producing required documentation to support changes.
  • Demonstrate subject matter expertise across multiple key modules in Jiva.
  • Recommend configuration best practices to peers and support training efforts.
  • Review functional design and business requirements per established peer review guidelines to ensure quality control.
  • Review application release notes, report application defects to vendors and support application upgrade efforts.
  • Develop and recommend best practices for system design and configuration.
  • Work in conjunction with UAT and end-users as needed to develop and execute appropriate test plan to verify configuration changes work as intended.
  • Collaborate with system end-users to recommend and develop operational processes and /or process improvements in conjunction with system development work.
  • Document functional specifications for system solutions and enhancements to existing business systems.
  • Communicate results through written documents and maintain configuration database.
  • Identify opportunities for process and quality improvement.
  • Support team onboarding and training efforts.
  • Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

  • A Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Public Health, Business, or other related fields, which may be substituted with equivalent work experience
  • Prior experience at a healthcare organization, particularly at a managed care health plan preferred
  • 5 or more years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst and/or Configuration Analyst
  • Jiva configuration and testing experience preferred
  • Implements, monitors, utilizes, supports and communicates agreed upon departmental performance competencies metrics
  • In-depth understanding of health care data sets such as member eligibility, authorizations and claims.
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to exchange information with business and technical audiences at all levels.
  • Ability to meet deadlines, multi-task, problem-solve and identify and use appropriate technology to solve business problems.
  • Must be able to utilize analytic skills to conceptualize and envision the impact of change and propose new ways to do business.
  • Ability to produce accurate and precise work, detect discrepancies and resolve discrepancies all while meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to work effectively, independently, and as part of a team.
