The Compliance Specialist supports all functions of document control and investigation follow through for warehouse and cryogenics in a GMP environment. This includes but is not limited to Investigations, CAPAs, eCCs, SOP revisions, document review and compliance and regulatory support.

Key Responsibilities:

Support Material Operations and Cryogenics Quality Systems:

  • Support material operations and cryogenics departments including management of resulting CAPAs, QEs, Audit Findings, SOP revisions, etc.

  • Support the periodic review program for material operations and cryogenics departments; work with functional areas to complete assessments.

  • Partner with Field Quality in the review and hand-off of any GxP documents.

  • Provide support during regulatory agency and internal inspections. Support in generation of responses to regulatory, internal and external, compliance requirements with Material Operations and Cryogenics supervisors and managers.

Operational Excellence:

  • Support & participate in the site Operational Excellence program. Drive opportunities & projects for continuous improvement

  • Participate in site safety initiatives to improve safety culture.

  • Support continuous improvement projects.Lead and be in attendance of critical meetings regarding key business metrics.

  • Lead Tier meeting for area and participate in escalation meetings for department.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Knowledge generally gained by course of study for a Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent preferred.

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a regulated environment.

  • Project work is required with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally with other groups and levels.

  • Critical skills include a high degree of initiative, strong problem-solving skills & attention to detail.

  • Excellent communications and computer skills with a demonstrated proficiency with MS Access, Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Project

  • Ability to work independently and participate in project teams. Able to communicate will all levels of Management, develop successful working relationships, and possess an ability to influence site team members.

  • Able to communicate effectively and develop successful working relationships.

  • Experience with SAP and Quality Management Systems desirable
