HR Compliance Specialist

As our company continues to grow, we are searching for a proactive, detail oriented and organized individual to join our Human Resources team to focus on critical compliance initiatives required by federal, state, and municipal entities.

An individual in this role must have the ability to multi-task and problem solve in a fast-moving environment. Strong communication, computer, collaborative, and analytical skills are essential. Prior compliance and/or HR experience in the construction industry is a plus.

Responsibilities include:

• Staying current with job specific, state/federal/city specific requirements as they change.
• Collecting information, processing, and tracking company CORI and S-Licenses.
• Preparing the company’s Affirmative Action plans.
• Tracking all job-specific compliance related requirements and preparing/distributing communications accordingly.
• Partnering with internal team for any audit preparations.
• Preparing and submitting the EEO-1 and Vets 4212 annually.
• Assisting with Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging efforts in the company.
• Preparing documentation for Apprentice Registration and reciprocity for Apprentices and Licensed Electricians.
