As an Operations Compliance Analyst, you'll work closely with the Sr. Director of Operations to manage compliance control audits across our regional branches. Your role will involve auditing existing processes to enhance regulatory compliance, minimize inventory loss, ensure adherence to DOT and OSHA regulations, maintain financial controls, and promote a secure and safe workplace environment for our dedicated employees.
Responsibilities:
* Prepare and distribute monthly financial reports and bank reconciliations, adhering to deadlines and internal controls.
* Perform cash management functions, including initiating and posting journal entries and resolving issues.
* Analyze expenses, prepare accruals based on budget, and review accounts payable activity and cash balances.
* Perform monthly general ledger account analysis and balance sheet reconciliations.
* Prepare audit-related requests and perform other assigned duties.
Working hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
* Proven organizational skills with a high degree of attention to detail.
* Series 26 certification
Education:
Bachelors
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
* Excellent critical thinking, quantitative, and analytical skills.
* An understanding of financial concepts.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Series 6 certification
