Purpose:
Assists in the development, execution, and administration of compensation programs within the region, ensuring conformance with internal guidelines and business objectives.
Main Responsibilities:
- Evaluates salaried, hourly, middle and top management positions to determine job content and internal alignment.
- Performs evaluation of jobs and application of existing job classifications to individuals.
- Assists in updating the salary structure, maintaining contact with all functional areas to identify business changes that may require changes in the salary structure.
- Provides support to Human Resources Development (HRDE) for the creation of positions consistent with career paths.
- Proposes the granting of bonuses, other special awards and benefits.
- Coordinates with the payroll department to provide information regarding salary changes and bonuses.
- Identifies deviations in budgeted Labor Costs.
- Participates in external compensation surveys as appropriate.
- Complies with Tenaris policies, procedures and management standards, and ensures adherence with all laws and regulations that apply to the area of responsibility.
- Protects from damage, theft or misuse the facilities, equipment and other physical resources assigned to his/her area.
