- Design, develop, and deploy scalable and highly available cloud-based applications using Python, DotNet, FastAPI, Azure Web Services, and Kubernetes.
- Optimize, productionize and support highly multi-tenanted machine learning pipelines utilizing Python, scikit-learn, MLFlow and Azure ML.
- Utilize knowledge of Linux systems, containerization and orchestration to deploy applications and troubleshoot production issues.
- Monitor performance of ML models and platform issues using DataDog APM, logs and MLFlow tracing. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, ensuring the reliability and availability of our systems, including during off-hours for outages.
- Collaborate on improvement of data modelling, collection, storage and governance.
- Participate in code reviews and creating of automated testing to ensure high-quality and maintainable code.
- Optimize code and infrastructure for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
- Professional experience working as a software or data engineer, with a focus on Python development.
- Experience working with one of the major cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) in building scalable and secure enterprise applications or data solutions.
- Understanding of containerization and orchestration using Kubernetes, including experience in deploying and managing applications in Kubernetes clusters.
- Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitLab.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
- Some knowledge of machine learning orchestration frameworks (Kubeflow, MLflow).
- Infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform.
- Understanding of accelerated compute and code optimization techniques.
- Experience with data engineering and data lifecycle management.
- Experience with Kubernetes tooling such as Helm charts, Monitoring tools, Tilt, or others.
- Some knowledge of automated testing frameworks, e.g. Python Behave or Doc-tests
- Experience with monitoring tools such as DataDog.
