The Compensation Data Analyst plays a critical role in optimizing the organization's compensation programs by managing, analyzing, and interpreting Compensation Data through various application systems and software tools. This individual will collaborate with the Compensation team to ensure that the enterprise's compensation packages are competitive, equitable, and aligned with the Company's overall business objectives. The Compensation Data Analyst will extract and create Compensation Data dashboards that will contribute to attracting, retaining, and motivating top talent within the organization.
Essential Functions, Duties & Responsibilities:
Assess and enhances data quality, consistency, and integrity within the Compensation Database systems.
Gathers data on industry compensation trends and benchmarks to ensure the Company's compensation packages remain competitive.
Collects, organizes, and analyzes Compensation Data to identify trends, disparities, and areas for improvement.
Creates and sustains user-friendly dashboards and thorough reports concerning Compensation Data, providing actionable insights to Human Resources (HR) and senior management.
Assists in the design and execution of compensation reviews, including salary surveys, and benchmarking.
Aids the Compensation Department with maintaining job descriptions for each position in the organization; ensures descriptions accurately reflect the work being performed by incumbents.
Prepares and maintains job classifications and salary scales.
Conducts data and cost analyses to be used in employee negotiations and collective bargaining agreements.
Maintains strict confidentiality and security of sensitive Compensation Data.
Assists in software implementation and updates to improve the efficiency and accuracy of Compensation Data management.
Collaborates with the Compensation team to interpret data findings and support in the design and implementation of compensation programs and initiatives.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Thorough knowledge of human resources and compensation best practices, laws, and regulations.
Proficient in Microsoft Suites (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, etc.), Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), and compensation management software.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or relevant, equivalent experience required.
CCP (Certified Compensation Professional), SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred.
Minimum 3 years of experience in compensation administration or data management.
Proven experience with HR software systems such as Workday, SAP, or Oracle is desirable.
Working Conditions:
Work is performed in an office environment with telephones, personal computers, and printers.
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Keying/typing, hearing, field of vision, and talking/speaking.
TThe noise level of the environment is usually moderate.
Occasional lifting up to or about 15 pounds.
May require standing less than or equal to 1/3 of the day.
Occasionally travel may be required.
