Key Role:
Support and implement the Compensation and benefit requirements necessary for merger and acquisition (M&A) related activities through the full life-cycle, starting with diligence through final end-state. Participate in the review of data room Total Rewards artifacts and conduct analyses related to Compensation and welfare benefit programs. Partner with the M&A Compensation and Benefit Lead to advise and execute recommendations on compensation frameworks, retention strategies, and Benefits integration plans. Act as an internal consultant to stakeholders and business leaders on integration activities necessary to onboard acquired employee population or employee related considerations for pending divestitures. Partner with Total Rewards team and vendors to ensure details of pay programs, health and welfare benefits, and 401K programs are accounted for in the integration strategy. Partner with the project lead in identifying potential gaps and provide solutions for continued support through the life cycle of implementation or shutdown guided by the firm’s employee value proposition. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.
Basic Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in both benefits and compensation functions for a large company
- 5+ years of experience applying compensation principles and concepts to develop solutions to incentivize and retain employees
- 5+ years of experience with benefits design and trends, administration, utilization, cost and budgeting, base pay architecture, incentive plan design and administration, and differentiated rewards programs
- Experience using HR Information Systems, Microsoft Office applications, and project management tools, and maintaining the highest level of confidentiality
- Knowledge of health care reform, reporting requirements, ERISA, HIPAA, and FMLA compliance requirements
- Knowledge of compensation regulations, including FLSA, wage and hour laws, and pay transparency
- Ability to successfully manage multiple initiatives and prioritize deliverables
- Bachelor’s degree
Additional Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in both benefits and compensation functions for a large company with a large global population
- Experience with Workday
- Experience providing analysis in diligence phase, including total rewards gap assessment, rewards programs and systems, and job mapping alignment
- Experience with international Compensation and Benefits
- Experience in government contracting
- Knowledge of compensation surveys, analyses, budgets, plans, and implementation
- Master's degree
- CCP, CEBS, PHR, S-PHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $73,100.00 to $166,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
