Job Responsibilities
- Research and select appropriate venues for events
- Identify and contact potential guest speakers
- Handle event logistics, including scheduling, budgeting, and implementing plans
- Coordinate with CX Council team to ensure events are successful
- Negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers
- Develop and manage event timelines
- Monitor event progress and make adjustments as needed
- Prepare event reports, including budget summaries and guest feedback
- Maintain a database of event information, guest lists, and contact lists
- Manage event promotion, including creating and distributing marketing materials
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in event planning, hospitality, business or related field. Work experience can substitute for a degree.
- Experience in event planning and management
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and tight deadlines
- Must be willing and able to travel to various events around the US & Europe
- Knowledge of customer experience (CX) topics is a plus
- Passion for business networking is a plus
- Excellent communication skills, organizational and problem solving skills

- Project management and event planning skills

- Able to balance competing opinions and priorities.
- Presentation skills; written and verbal communication skills.
- Amenable to work on multiple / changing shifts and on hybrid work set-up
- Availability to dedicate 5-10 hours per week
