Description:
Responsibilities:
Provides leadership and management of the loan origination programs and staff to set and meet CRF’s lending business goals.
- Hire, train, and support Lenders to target, source, evaluate and approve new business opportunities.
- Manage lending staff with regard to meeting production and professional development goals and fostering a positive and collaborative team environment.
- Guide lenders in the prescreening, underwriting, and structuring of loan applications
- Work with SVP-CLO, lenders on programs, products, and new lending initiatives to ensure effective marketplace execution and high level of customer satisfaction.
- Develop relationships as appropriate with significant existing and potential borrowers to develop market knowledge and promote CRF’s programs.
- Work with Director Portfolio Management and portfolio management staff to ensure successful customer relationships and coordinated communications.
Develops new/improved lending programs and products to better serve local nonprofit needs:
- Work closely with CLO and Lenders to identify and explore opportunities for new initiatives or product/program enhancements.
- Support Finance and Strategic Partnership Team with CRF applications for new programs and funding from Treasury, foundations, investors, and other funding sources.
- Collaborate with internal CRF teams to develop and execute comprehensive solutions, initiatives or programs requiring loan capital and/or lender resources.
- In coordination with the CLO, CCO, and Portfolio Management staff, supports the financial and risk goals of CRF’s lending and capital investment business.
- Ensure new products and programs incorporate the appropriate risk criteria and capital investment parameters.
- Develops and administers the lending budget and reports business development and lending activities to CLO
- Represents CRF at conferences, seminars, presentations, and other events to support overall CRF goals, programs and visibility. Work with other CRF staff to support and coordinate implementation of special CRF initiatives.
- Maintains required job knowledge and skills and core professional competencies. Attend and participate in required educational programs and staff meetings.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
