LOCATION

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
- None
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Implementation of Quality and Appropriate Services: Responsible for planning and coordinating services, handling case assignments drafting service plans, reviewing case progress, making referrals as needed and determining case outcomes, as well as helping clients achieve their goals. Provide crisis intervention; address parent/child conflict; teach pro-social skills; improve relationships between the family, community, and school.
Outreach/Family Engagement Develop strategies to increase family engagement and support. Conduct presentations to educate agencies, and the community of the program through outreach event, PSAs, and technology. Assist in identifying the client needs for training and education; help to identify client specific resources and referrals.
Other Duties
- All other related tasks and duties are performed willingly and cooperatively within time frame established for each task.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Must have at least 2 years of Community Developer working experience
- Have experience in planning and coordinating services, handling case assignments drafting service plans, reviewing case progress, making referrals.
- Have experience in providing crisis intervention.
- Have experience in addressing parent/child conflict, teaching pro-social skills, and improving relationships between the family, community, and school.
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Strength and dexterity necessary to perform all required tasks including lifting, stooping, bending, and working in tiring and uncomfortable positions.
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions.

EDUCATION
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must have the use of sensory skills to effectively communicate and interact with other employees and the public using the telephone and personal contact as normally defined by the ability to see, read, talk, hear, handle or feel objects and controls. Physical capability to effectively use and operate various items of office related equipment, such as, but not limited to a, personal computer, calculator, copier, and fax machine. No significant climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, and repetitive motions.
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States of America. Sponsorship will not be a part of this contract
