Our Community Accounting Administrator provides accounting and tracking assistance to Community Accounting department.
What you’ll accomplish:
- Participating in standing meetings with clients related to the position
- Accounts Receivables:
- Working directly with GL accountant and AR representative in preparations for monthly financials and year end audits. Alongside Executive Director, Community Manager and appropriate site team members
- Tracking and ensuring builder & developer billings
- Individual and bulk billings
- Understanding multiple builder agreements
- Tracking builder permits & C.O.s
- Pursuing collections on delinquencies
- Ensuring account setups
- Foundation – Environmental fee tracking & payment
- Community Enhancement Fee
- Parks & Rec Revenue & Expense
- Revenue sharing
- Accounts Payables:
- Oversight of billing and coding for the Residential Association, Commercial Association, and Independent Special District.
- Oversight of all Cost Share Agreements and verification of proper billing to each entity.
What we’re looking for:
- A minimum of two years of experience in accounting department; accounts receivable, accounts payable or general ledger
- Basic knowledge of accounting reports and functions
- Basic knowledge of general ledger accounting processes
- Basic knowledge of accrual basis accounting
- Homeowners association experience preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with site teams, vendors and co-workers
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize workload
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
