As our PR/Communications Manager, you’ll be at the heart of our strategic planning, developing and executing communication plans that will boost our brand awareness and establish us as thought leaders in our industry. You’ll be reporting directly to the CMO, working closely with internal teams to ensure our messaging is consistent across all channels.

- Develop and implement comprehensive content and communication strategies to promote HR Acuity’s brand, values, and priorities.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with key media outlets, journalists, bloggers, and influencers to secure positive media coverage.
- Write and distribute press releases, pitches, byline articles, and other materials to generate publicity for company events, product launches, and industry developments.
- Manage HR Acuity’s awards strategy and submission process.
- Monitor and report on media coverage and social media channels to identify potential issues and develop appropriate responses.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, sales, and customer success to ensure alignment of messaging and communication efforts.
- Coordinate and support company events, conferences, and speaking engagements to maximize exposure and networking opportunities.
- Ensure consistency and accuracy of messaging across all communication materials.
- Analyze communication metrics and KPIs to evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns and identify areas for improvement.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a fast-paced environment as a writer, communications, or public relations professional.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and PR software/tools (e.g., Cision, Meltwater) preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- You’re a project management whiz, juggling multiple projects like a pro.
- You’ve got a history of nailing PR campaigns and getting media coverage. We love that.
- Your communication skills are top-notch, both in writing and speaking.
- You know how to tailor your messages to different folks.
- If you’ve got strong connections with journalists and influencers, that’s a big plus.
- You’re a creative thinker, always strategizing, and you don’t miss the small stuff.
