The Communication & Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing specific marketing plans for NASW New Jersey (NASW-NJ) products, programs, and services. Writes, reviews, and edits informational and promotional content for the chapter. Coordinates email marketing, social media, and other customer engagement efforts. Uses content management tools and resources. Produces collateral materials, including but not limited to advertisements, brochures, web pages and multimedia presentations. Serves as the marketing point person for all chapter programs. Coordinates event exhibits when needed and manages business relationships with third party vendors as requested. Provides operational and logistical support for NASW-NJ educational events. The Communication & Marketing Manager will be the direct report to Executive Director.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Skills: Creativity. Storytelling. Excellent writing. Data analysis. Social and digital media. Ability to work productively on cross-functional teams. Requires excellent analytical and organizational skills. Strong project management skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks.
- Knowledge: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Business, Statistics or similar preferred. BSW/MSW welcomed. Must have experience with marketing strategies, communication techniques, and content development. Knowledge of basic market research and data management elements required. Prior experience working with Informz or similar email marketing tool strongly preferred.
- Experience: Two years’ experience as a marketing associate, marketing assistant or related position. Significant experience with social, digital, and SEO/SEM campaigns and tools. Superior computer skills, including marketing technology applications. Experience running paid social media and digital campaigns is a plus.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $51,000.00 per year
