Communications Manager
The Communications Manager will drive global team member and external/digital communication activities in support of our people, our brands, and our performance. They will work closely with the Senior Director of Communications in collaborating across functions and brands to drive engagement and impact in talent attraction and retention as well as franchise development, owning all communication channels, tactical rollouts and measurement. They will have a great opportunity to explore many facets of a corporate communication function in a growing company that appreciates the value of communication.
What you'll do:
- Develop and implement multi-channel strategic communication plans, independently, to raise awareness of our company-wide priorities and drive understanding of the company’s culture, goals, and performance across internal audiences
- Partner across functions and business units to drive and lead key projects, including communication leader toolkits, team member onboarding and franchise development content
- Partner with People function to enhance and continuously improve content on designated talent attraction and recruiting channels and measure progress
- Partner with Finance, IT and Legal leaders to develop and deliver communication plans to drive outcomes in support of key team member facing initiatives
- Collaborate with the franchise development team to develop and drive key messages, content strategy and awareness among relevant audiences
- Collaborate and build cohesion across US, Canada, and UK team member communications to help create and equitable yet relevant team member experience
- Develop written articles, capture, post, and manage images for company website and manage social media content across SMB external/digital channels
- Manage the measurement process of the effectiveness of communications and derive key action plans from insights
- Assess, test, and optimize communication channels and tools
- Support the execution and continuous improvement of key projects both internally and externally across ServiceMaster® Brands channels, including crisis communications as needed
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging communication technologies, recommending innovative approaches to enhance communication effectiveness.
What you bring:

- Experience with change management as well as employee/franchisee engagement strategies

- Bachelor’s degree in Communications or a related field.
- 5-7 years’ experience in corporate communications, public relations, or related field.
Work Location:
This role is a hybrid role based in our Atlanta office with up to 10% travel expected.
