Position Overview: In this dynamic role, the Communications & Engagement Specialist champions Papa Murphys Core Values a commitment to quality, service, integrity, and teamwork and will:

Be crazy organized and detailed oriented!

• Help support the teams processes and produce accurate, timely, engaging, and effective communications.
• Be accountable for the execution and success of Franchise Owner facing communications tactics and help create a positive culture through impactful processes.
• Support other functions of the Papa Murphys Culture and Engagement Team, including the Project Management Office, Training, and Learning & Development.

Implement routine department processes and tasks.

• Facilitate the day-to-day organization and execution of routine processes and tasks
• Write, curate, review, and publish the franchise newsletter, The Bulletin.
• Proofread, edit, and format/design thoughtful messages on behalf of the business, accounting for appropriate purpose and audience, tone, and context.
• Create articles, emails, graphics, videos, and layouts that are tailored for audience needs.

• Thoughtfully shepherd requests through our Communications and Engagement processes, help create content, and optimize the final product. This includes working with cross-functional teams to assess and incorporate feedback, collect approvals, publish, finalize, and distribute the communication to final audiences on time.

• C&E event support from webinar admin, to content and people coordination, to logistic planning.
• Assist with distribution of press releases and LinkedIn posts for external engagement.

Contributor and administration for internal communication and learning platforms:

• Format & curate platform content.
• Engage content creators to keep articles up to date.
• Train and guide new users as needed.
• Upload new courses, announcements, and newsletters.
• Maintain current courses and content to ensure they are up to date.
• Dispatch reporting to appropriate teams.
• Solve and complete requests for user issues.

• Salary range: $49,421-$69,189. Actual offer may vary from posted hiring range based on location, work experience, and/or education.

• Technical aptitude and experience with programs like Teams, Smartsheet, Articulate Rise, streaming and event recording.
• Flexible and adaptable to the ever-changing world of Communications and employee engagement.
• Strong interpersonal skills; comfortable establishing rapport with a variety of personalities and functions.
• Enthusiasm for learning about all facets of the business.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment with potential crises and tight deadlines.

Foundations of your career:

• Seasoned (like a good pizza!): Experience and passion for writing and editing content for large internal and external audiences.
• You know your stuff: Project management experience is a plus, working knowledge of design and video editing software is amazing, and practical experience using Teams, OneDrive, and basic SmartSheets and HTML/CSS is helpful.
• Bonus points! Experience with a franchised organization.
