As an assistant baker, you will play a crucial role in creating the delicious treats that our customers crave. Your responsibilities will include:
- Mixing, preparing, and shaping dough for various baked goods.
- Operating baking equipment and ensuring precise baking times and temperatures.
- Assisting pastry chefs in decorating and finishing pastries, cakes, and desserts.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area to meet food safety standards
- Collaborating with fellow team members to ensure product consistency and quality
- Packaging and presenting bakery products for sale in an appealing manner.
- To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- Previous experience in a bakery or food production environment is a plus, but not required.
- Passion for Baking and a willingness to learn and grow in the field.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality baked goods.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.
- Team player with excellent communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a professional kitchen environment preferred.
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Holidays
- Weekends as needed
