Commercial Solutions For Classified (Csfc) Systems Engineer

Job Description
The CSfC Systems Engineer will be a member of the Software Defined Radio Solutions (SDRS) Integrated Product Team (IPT). The SDRS IPT engineers products for multiple government agencies, including the Office of Naval Research (ONR).
PRIMARY DUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Architects and builds networking solutions that meet or exceed NSA CSfC requirements
• Designs and supports Key Infrastructure (PKI) and Certificate Authorities (CA) solutions
• Works with Cyber Security experts to ensure networks maintain a hardened security posture
• Documents network solutions and demonstrates solutions to engineers, end users and customers
• Integrates network solutions into existing linux based systems design and applications
• Designs and implements networking solutions in Kubernetes clusters running on edge computing devices

Requirements
MINIMUM SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, cybersecurity, or related field and 8+ years of job-related experience
• Experience with NSA's Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC) cybersecurity program and solution registration process
• Experience with Linux Operating Systems and networking of physical and virtual machines
• Understanding of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) cryptography techniques
• Understanding of networking models, protocols, and services; including the OSI and TCP/IP models
• Excellent communications, organization, and analytical skills
• Active DoD Secret clearance

DESIRED SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience with software containers, container management, orchestration, and cluster networking (Kubernetes, Docker)
• Experience with Kernel-based Virtual Machine (KVM) installation and support
• CompTIA Network+ and Security+ certifications or the ability to obtain certifications within 6 months of employment
• Experience working with Software Defined Radio Solutions, Tactical Radios, and Mobile ad hoc Networks (MANET)
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Ansible, Vagrant, Terraform
• Familiarity with government Cyber Security practices and tools. Including such things as Risk Management Framework (RMF), STIGs, ACAS scans and Authority to Operate (ATO) processes

SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE SECRET LEVEL WITH TOP SECRET / SCI ELIGIBILITY
