SiemensMobility provides efficient and coordinated transportation of peopleand goods by rail - including Rolling Stock, rail automation, railelectrification, and service. We craft and manufacture across the entirespectrum of Rolling Stock, including commuter and regional passenger trains,light rail and streetcars, metros, locomotives, passenger coaches, andhigh-speed trainsets. Cities and Railroads also rely on us to providetraction-power substations and electricity transmission, as well as signalingand control technology for freight and passenger rail and transit systems.
Overview:
SiemensMobility, Inc. Rolling Stock is seeking a professional Commercial Financial Project Director with a proven track record of managing internationalsophisticated projects.
The Commercial Financial Project Director - Rolling Stock will be responsible for theexecution of a large multi-billion-dollar complex Transit project durationsfrom 5-8 years. The Director Commercial Project Manager is responsible forcommercial project execution during phases including planning, design,procurement, manufacturing, commissioning, and customer acceptance. Dutiesinclude liaising with operational departments to ensure Order IncomeCalculation is achieved while meeting goals for customer satisfaction, cost,schedule, and quality. Another key role is to fulfill the role of the WorldProject Controller to ensure financial compliance on the World Projectreporting level. The Director Commercial Project Manager is the supportingfunction of the Project Manager for all aspects of the project. This positionreports to the Director, FBA.
Responsibilities:
  • Profit & loss for assigned projects.
  • Proactively lead changes in project scope, identify potential problems, and devise contingency plans from a cost perspective.
  • Supervise and control project scope, schedule, budget, risks, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and collaborators.
  • Support PM with the development and delivery of monthly project reports, customer progress reports, customer change proposals, and presentations to management and internal/external customers.
  • Coach, mentor, empower, and supervise project team members and contractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
  • Support with identifying and resolving issues/conflicts within the project team.
  • Support customer sales channel activities
RequiredKnowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:
  • Required education: College diploma or equivalent experience required. PMI Certification.
  • Required experience: 8+ years of successful Financial Project Management experience in complex projects.
  • Required travel: 25%
  • Other requirements: Excellent commercial, oral, and written communication skills; must be able to demonstrate presentation skills.
PreferredKnowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
  • Preferred education: Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance.
  • Preferred experience: 3 to 5 years of experience related to the Rolling Stock industry is preferred.
  • Other preferences: Experience in controlling and accounting, contracts, and claims experience with rail vehicle commercial project management preferred.

Thebase salary range in Sacramento, CA, is $141,500 - $191,500 with an annualincentive target of 15% of the base salary. The salary may be higher orlower depending on the budget and the candidate's experience, knowledge,skills, and qualifications.
