Commercial Construction Technician/Handyman Heavy In Electric

Ameritech Facility Services is searching for Field Technicians. We will pay a $200 Referral Fee and a $500 Sign-On Bonus for a full-time hire. Any referred applicant must name the person who referred them for the referring/existing employee to receive credit and a bonus. The referred new employee and the referring employee must be employed full-time by the company for 90 days after hiring the new candidate.

Job Description

Ameritech Facility Services is seeking a full time and experienced jack-of-all-trades Technician/handyman, Heavy in Electrical, willing to travel to remodel, renovate and do roll outs for Restaurants and Retail Establishments. Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience in Electric with a basic understanding of carpentry, flooring, plumbing and other trades. Must be able to pass a background check.

Basic Skills in the following Trades:

• Heavy in Electrical (3 phase circuitry)
• Minor plumbing connections (sink supply and drain lines)
• Minor electrical connections (disconnect and reconnect equipment)
• Roofing Repairs
• Concrete Repairs
• Stucco Repairs
• Fencing
• Asphalt Repairs
• Carpet Repairs
• Tile Repairs
• Use of basic tools and the ability to install or assemble by following instructions
• Handling projects when needed
• Heavy lifting, standing, bending, and reaching
• Working a flexible schedule of days, nights, or weekends
• Ability to manage time and prioritize; must follow special instructions and schedules
• Effective communication
• Maintaining a clean and professional appearance

Must have the following:

• Commercial Construction Experience (5+ years), preferably restaurant
• Ability to travel regionally (50-75%)
• Clean driving record and personal transportation
• Tools (drills, saws, hammers, ladders, cords, shop vac, caulking gun, etc). Specialty tools will be rented (concrete saw, jackhammer, etc)
• Cell phone
• Good communications skills ability to FAX, SCAN and EMAIL PHOTOS
• Willingness to learn other skills
