Hardscape Technician

ACP is currently seeking an entry level Hardscape Technician (Tradesman) to aid with the installation of pergolas, gazebos, outdoor kitchens, fire places, pavers, pool decks, and landscape walls. Carpentry and masonry skills are an asset to this position.

· Work with stone/stucco.

· Dig holes or trenches for foundations, posts, poles, or related items.

· Use hand or power tools.

· Grade or redistribute earth for roads or other construction.

· Install prefabricated building components.

· Measure and mark lay out for construction projects.

· Operate pneumatic tamper to patch pavement or tamp earth.

· Operate power construction equipment.

· Repair cracks, defects, or damage in installed building materials.

· Use concrete fabrication techniques.

· Use measuring devices in construction or extraction work.

· Verify levelness or verticality, using level or plumb bob.

· Understand construction specifications.

· Prepare site or surfaces for concrete or masonry work.

· Use basic carpentry techniques.

· Adhere to safety procedures.

· Clean work areas, equipment or machinery.

· Load, unload, or stack containers, materials, or products.

· Read tape measure.

· Read work order, instructions.

· Communicate and signal directions or warnings to coworker.

Requirements:

Must have the following in order to apply:

No minimum education or experience required

Valid driver's license - reliable transportation to and from jobsites

Ability to lift up to 75 pounds

Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus

Work Environment:

Outdoors. Extended periods of time in the sun, exposure to the elements and inclement weather.

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
