Job Overview:
As a Commercial Collection Specialist, you'll play a vital role in maintaining relationships with our 2500 commercial clients. This position involves soft customer service calls, focusing on solutions-minded collections experience. We're not looking for hardcore collections, but someone comfortable applying pressure to ensure timely payments and prevent service interruptions.
Responsibilities:
Conduct approximately 40 soft customer service calls per day.
Utilize AS400 system for documentation of all conversations, attempts to collect, and setting up follow-up calls.
Efficiently manage a list of clients requiring calls through our system for optimal workflow.
Troubleshoot invoices and work towards finding practical solutions for payment.
Work closely with the CFO for training on our specific collections processes.
Requirements:
Practical experience in Commercial Collections is essential.
Ability to troubleshoot invoices and find solutions towards payments.
Comfortable with soft customer service calls and applying pressure for payment.
Proficient in using multiple screens and AS400 system.
Strong documentation skills and attention to detail.
