Collections Account Representative

Job Summary:
An Account Representative for various accounts from a collections & billings inquiry perspective. Also responsible for cash applications, invoice adjustments and recording of write-offs.

Responsibilities:
· Accounts receivable collections for various accounts, including Fortune 500 companies.

· Record cash applications

· Record account adjustments in accounting software for modified invoices and other billing adjustments.

· Perform accounts receivable reconciliations for customers

· Field accounts receivable inquiries that come in via e-mail and telephone

· Discussion with management on status of delinquent accounts

· Invoice scanning and uploads for customers

· Report generation to customers who prefer invoice reporting

· Backup credit & collections manager in account set up and credit inquiries

· Any other tasks as assigned by CFO

Experience:
- Previous experience in collections or a related field is preferred
- Strong knowledge of financial concepts, including account reconciliation, debits, credits, and billing processes
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Proficient in basic math calculations
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.55 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
