Telework Information: This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule, with up to two days of remote work and three days or more onsite, per week.
CalPERS Financial Reporting and Accounting Section is looking for an Associate Governmental Program Analyst (Collection Specialist). Under the direction of the Staff Services Manager I, Supervisor, the Collection Specialist performs more responsible, varied, and complex analysis, tracking and collection activities related to delinquent accounts for all CalPERS-wide non-investment programs, serves as the point of contact for CalPERS concerning delinquent accounts, and independently handles receipt and review of files on delinquent accounts from the program areas.

Statement of Qualifications

  • Describe your experience collecting on accounts receivables. Provide examples of successful and unsuccessful experiences.
  • Describe your experience reporting on financial information specifically related to accounts receivable.

    • Experience with preparing management report of complex collections, recoveries, and write-offs
    • Speak and write effectively
