The Collection Officer is responsible for assisting the AVP, Senior Collections Officer with collection efforts, monitoring of special attention credits, delinquent loan payment and property tax monitoring. This role will also complete other duties, tasks or projects as assigned.

Collection Officer
Job Description
The Collection Officer is responsible for assisting the AVP, Senior Collections Officer with collection efforts, monitoring of special attention credits, delinquent loan payment and property tax monitoring. This role will also complete other duties, tasks or projects as assigned.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide support to all assigned areas of the SBA Servicing department where service or assistance is needed
- Monitor loans for possible risk rating changes
- Complete Performance-Based and $2.5M annual reviews
- Make Customer Service calls related to collection of loan payments
- Monitor classified loans on a quarterly basis using the Special Attention Credit ( SAC ) report
- Monitor and follow up on delinquent property taxes
- Run credit reports as needed
- Review reports for possible changes with borrower or collateral
- Demonstrate a satisfactory understanding of and adherence to Bank operational policies
- Demonstrate a satisfactory understanding of and adherence to the Bank Secrecy Act/Patriot Act/ OFAC regulations as they relate to the specific job duties assigned
- Demonstrate a satisfactory understanding of and adherence to all applicable compliance regulations as they relate to the specific job duties assigned
