Title: CNC Mill Operator- Aerospace
Delta Gear an Aerospace company is an AS9100 and ISO9001 registered facility which manufactures Gear Products, Prototype/ Production, and Transmission Builds. In addition, we provide contract gear and CMM inspection services. We are also a NADCAP approved non-destructive testing facility and currently provide Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) and Nital Etch.
Tasks:
- Experience in setup and running of various CNC milling equipment.
- Working with tooling, cutter technology and part fixturing
- In-process inspection and first piece approvals
- Accountable for part conformance to requirements
- Use of existing and developing new programing for newly machined parts.
Skills/Key Competencies:
- Ability to indicate diameters and faces on pieces to be machined.
- Knowledge of GD & T and process sketches
- Feed rate and machining best practices on various type of metals
