Cnc/Manual Lathe & Mill Machinist Operator

The CNC/Manual Lathe Machinist will run a variety of machines, will help to enhance productivity, will perform quality checks, and monitor machine output.

Job responsibilities/Essential Duties:

• Setup and operation of CNC lathe and CNC mill.
• CNC programming with G-code and Conversational
• Knowledge of CNC conversational programming and set up is preferred. Same as Prototrak machine
• As machinist you will be expected to run multiple CNC machines
• Basic knowledge of turning and machining speeds and tooling.
• Applicants should know how to read and use micrometers, calipers, and indicators.
• Personal tools required (micrometers, calipers, indicators).
• Display aptitude, attitude, and willingness to learn, and take on responsibilities for personal growth.

Qualifications/Experience/Skills & Abilities:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Manual machine experience preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with experience with both manual lathe and manual mill,
• Ability to read blueprints, use precision inspection equipment including micrometers, calipers and indicators.
• Ability to perform close tolerance inspection of parts and perform set-ups.
• High mechanical aptitude
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Must pass pre-employment physical and drug test

Job Type/Schedule: This is 1st SHIFT position; M-F Day Shift. Must be able to work Saturdays as required. Pay is based on experience.
