Duties
- Set up and operate CNC machines to perform precision machining operations
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine machining operations
- Select and install cutting tools, adjust speeds and feeds, and make machine adjustments as necessary
- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with CNC machines as they arise
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CNC Machinist
- Proficient in the use of Fanuc controls
- Experience with coordinate measuring machines (CMM) is a plus
- Knowledge of power tools, lathe operation, and assembly techniques
- Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles
- Understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
- Experience with plastics injection molding is preferred
- Welding experience is a plus
