Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce precision parts and components. Minimum 2 years experience - Candidate must be able to program from a drawing via Bobcad or G Code. The CNC machinist will be responsible for the completion of CNC lathe and mill jobs from program to part. We are looking for an experienced (2-5 years) individual with a motivated "self-starter" attitude and the ability to perform well independently and as part of a team. Haas experience a plus.
Duties:
- Set up and operate CNC machines to perform machining operations such as turning, milling, drilling, and grinding
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine machining requirements
- Select the appropriate tools, fixtures, and materials for each job
- Load raw materials into the machine and monitor the machining process to ensure quality and accuracy
- Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and other tools to inspect finished parts
- Make adjustments to machine settings as necessary to maintain product specifications
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve production processe
-Programs CNC machines using Bobcad or other CNC program tools
- Must be versed in tooling, and fixture requirements for production
- Ability to setup, troubleshoot and operate HAAS CNC Mills and Haas Lathes.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings and quality specs.
- Perform in process inspection to verify measurements and specifications and repeatability.
- Must perform work in a timely manner with respect to schedule and quality standards.
- Performs Preventative Maintenance of machinery keeping it operational by troubleshooting malfunctions, lubricating and maintaining proper oil & coolant levels.
-Ability to multi-task in a fast paced manufacturing environment and does so with minimal supervision.
- Solid foundation of knowledge and experience with CNC machining centers, Lathes & Mills and other machinery as required.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role
- Strong knowledge of plastics injection molding processes
- Proficient in CAD software for programming CNC machines
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and bore gauges
- Basic math skills for calculations and measurements
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Experience with fabricating parts using milling machines is preferred
- Familiarity with Haas controls is a plus

Pay: $23.48 - $28.28 per hour
