Ferrada Wheels is looking to hire a full time CNC Machinist for the newly created position here in our company. CNC Specific Duties will include Running the machine(s), inputting measurement data for specific orders and measurements, maintaining machines including checking coolant/oil levels and concentrations, emptying aluminum shavings, maintaining inventory of all requisite tools for machine operation. Ability to understand and modify G-Code for a Haas VF 3YT Multi Axis Machine is a must, programming background for G-Code preferred.
Specific Machining Tasks will include milling of back pad of wheels to set offset/backspacing, drilling of PCD (bolt pattern) and boring of center bore to start, with more potentially coming down as we progress into this sector further.
Additional tasks correlated to this task will be masking off of the face of a wheel prior to drilling to protect painted surfaces as well as the painting of freshly drilled surfaces to match the finish of the wheels.
CNC Machinist will also assist with other warehouse operations as needed.
