Summary: Hiring a Manual Machinist with experience in CNC programming and machining techniques for long-term contract work.
Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent; additional technical education is a plus
Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or in a similar role
Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings
Strong knowledge of CNC programming and machining techniques
Familiarity with a variety of CNC machines and controls
Ability to use precision measuring instruments
Working knowledge of CAD/CAM (MasterCam)
Legal authorization to work in the United States
Preferred Skills:
Mechanical related Associates degree or 5+ years of experience with machining and fabricating
Welding knowledge
Experience in the process control industry
Knowledge of analyzing, evaluating, diagnosing, and resolving equipment and process-related problems
Strong computer skills with programs such as Microsoft Office Suite, CAD, and/or CAM software
Responsibilities: The Manual Machinist will be responsible for operating various CNC machines, interpreting engineering drawings, implementing CNC programming techniques, using precision measuring instruments, handling shop labor tasks like painting and sandblasting. It's important to note that this position will not involve machining during the whole shift; 50% of the time will be spent on shop labor tasks.
Pay Details: $20.00 to $30.00 per hour
