Position Summary:
As a vital member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the general and preventative maintenance efforts for our CNC assets within the facility. Your primary objective will be to enhance operational efficiencies, minimize scrap, reduce downtime, and facilitate the development of new products by delivering top-tier technical support.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
1. Execute routine, preventive, predictive, and reactive maintenance tasks for CNC manufacturing equipment and associated machinery.
2. Demonstrate proficiency in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing both control and non-control based production equipment.
3. Identify equipment-related issues and propose solutions, including recommendations for specific manufacturer components to standardize parts across the facility.
4. Collaborate with Maintenance leadership and Production Units to procure new equipment, rebuilds, or upgrades, defining project scopes, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations.
5. Coordinate planned downtime activities, including ordering necessary parts and securing additional resources for timely completion of tasks.
6. Maintain a tidy and organized work area, ensuring cleanliness after each job completion.
7. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing equipment reliability and maintainability.
8. Maintain accurate documentation, including work orders, inventory control, etc.
9. Assist in developing preventive, predictive, and repair procedures.
10. Adhere to all safety regulations and practices, including lockout/tagout procedures and proper utilization of personal protective equipment.
11. Efficiently utilize inventory control systems for spare parts, labor reporting, maintenance requests, and purchasing.
12. Effectively communicate issues to relevant stakeholders to ensure comprehensive information sharing.
13. Provide support to Production Units during line changeovers and setups as required.
14. Adhere to the requirements of the Fleet Safety Program when operating vehicles for work purposes.
Key Attributes:
1. Prior experience in performing maintenance on CNC equipment, preferably including Haas, Mazak, and Kitamura machines.
2. Ability to analyze data to identify and prioritize opportunities and issues.
3. Strong analytical, strategic, and tactical thinking skills with a knack for problem-solving.
4. Proficiency in effectively engaging with senior-level management both internally and externally.

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $25.00 - $35.42 per hour
