Red Seal Measurement is a provider of value-added products and services used to measure and control a wide variety of liquid fluids for custody transfer and general-purpose applications.

We are currently looking for an experienced CNC Machinist for our manufacturing facility in Greenwood, SC.

Summary

Operate the production equipment in a quality and proficient manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Set-up computerized machines(Makino & Mori Seiki) to perform machine functions on work piece per programmed parts
• Fixture setups on machines to support program being ran
• Input control instruction into machine
• Evaluate program blueprints to outline machine operations and dimensions
• Install machine tools and touch off tools for designated programs
• Replace and or perform tool wear adjustments for worn machine tools
• Make use of network links to ensure transmission of command from computer servers to computer numerical control modules
• Take accurate measurements of work piece and gauges for production
• Carryout maintenance measures to ensure good condition of machines
• Operate three or more machines with little or no assistance
• Ensure that all machines run at moderate and proper speed.

.Qualification Requirements

• Good knowledge of set-up and operation
• Good knowledge of blueprints and micrometers
• Have basic knowledge of production materials
• Basic knowledge of programming with the ability to edit programs if required
• Good communication skills.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift 50 to 100 pounds.
• Must be able to stand/sit for extended periods of time

Education Requirement

High School diploma or general education degree (GED)

Must have a minimum of five (5) years’ experience or have the necessary degrees or diploma from a trade school or college and can demonstrate a working knowledge that is required for this position.
