Since 1983, gun aficionados have been waiting for a reputable company to rebirth this symbol of cinematic, firearm, and literary history. In 2015, Auto Mag Ltd., Co. answered the call. Overview:
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC machines to produce high-quality parts and components. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC machines to perform precision machining operations
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications
- Program CNC machines using CAD/CAM software
- Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning and quality output
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, bore gauges, and calipers
- Make adjustments to machine settings as necessary to achieve desired results
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve production processes
- Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area
Experience:
- Previous experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role
- Proficiency in operating milling machines, lathes, and other CNC equipment
- Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Mazatrol, G-Code
- Familiarity with blueprint reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Experience with precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and bore gauges
- Knowledge of CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam) for programming CNC machines
- Understanding of lean manufacturing principles is a plus
- Excellent mathematical skills for performing calculations and measurements
